Get Started
Using multiple PCs
Keep your Pro Stream Kit setup in sync across machines.
Using multiple PCs
With an active (or grace-period) Stream Kit plan, sign in on a second PC and your cloud-synced setup is restored automatically. You only need to reconnect platform integrations on that machine.
First launch on a new PC
- Install Stream Kit and sign in with the same account.
- Wait for Restoring from cloud… on Profile (or the first sync after login).
- Reconnect Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and OBS (credentials are never synced).
- Rebuild overlay projects if the UI shows they need a build (
dist/missing after restore).
What stays in sync
| Area | Notes |
|---|---|
| Actions & queues | Full LWW sync |
| Bot / rankings / quotes / variables / collections | Per-record sync via app.records |
| Account-scoped plugin settings | Synced; passwords and host/port stay local |
| Overlay projects | Metadata + source zip; publish URLs remain separate |
| Dashboard widgets | Layout sync |
| Installed zip plugins | Catalog sync; restored when a manifest URL is available |
| Cloud media library | Refs (/api/files/...) sync with actions; optional per-PC offline mirror downloads file bytes locally |
What you redo per PC
- OAuth logins (Twitch broadcaster/bot, YouTube)
- Discord bot token, OBS connection, TTS API keys
- Localhost websocket URLs and API server bind/port
- Optionally enabling Keep cloud files offline and waiting for the local cache to finish (Profile → Cloud files; a progress toast shows synced count)
Open Profile → Cloud sync → Sync now if a machine was offline for a while.
